Cancellation Policy
Once San Diego Coast Rentals has received your signed confirmation and deposit if you “the renter” decide to cancel, there will be a $200 cancellation fee + the $50. Admin fee withheld out of the deposit amount. The remainder of the deposit will be returned within 2 – 3 weeks. If rent and tax have been paid (meaning the 60 day prior mark has passed) the same happens with the deposit amount ($200 + $50. Admin fee withheld) and the rent and tax amount will be held until the unit can be re-rented for the entirety or a portion of the original renters scheduled stay. The closer it gets to the scheduled arrival date, San Diego Coast Rentals reserves the right to discount the unit on a last minute basis so that the original renter will get back as much money as possible. Discounts at anytime are at the discretion of San Diego Coast Rentals and the owner of the property.

Deposit Policy
The deposit amount is always due within 2 days after reserving the unit. Rent and tax are always due ( via CHECK ONLY) 60 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. If unit is rented inside 30 days of the scheduled arrival date then rent, tax, and deposit are all due no later than 2 days after reserving the unit of your choice. There is a $50. processing fee plus tax per reservation. Only certain credit card types are accepted. No personal checks will be accepted if you “the renter” are scheduled to arrive within 30 days of the scheduled arrival date. In this case, a cashier’s check from your bank would be required. Deposit will be refunded via check within 7 – 21 days after departure once the unit has been inspected & assuming it was left in good order.
